Dual Weapon Attack (2 SP)

Perform (Action): You use one of the following techniques:

  • Parry: You brace a basic weapon to shield a nearby target. Until the start of your next turn, the Fighting test of any melee or ranged attack made against the shielded target has disadvantage if you can see the attacker. The target loses this benefit if you are incapacitated, or if you stop holding the weapon. If the shielded target isn't yourself, it must be adjacent to you to benefit from your Parry.

When you brace the weapon, you can wield a second basic weapon to make a melee attack as a part of the same action.

  • Rend: You wield a basic weapon to make a melee attack. You have advantage on the Fighting test. When you make the attack, you must be holding a second basic weapon.

  • Whirlwind: You wield a basic weapon to make a melee attack against an adjacent creature. When you make the attack, you must be holding a second basic weapon. Repeat the attack any number of times, using one or the other weapon each time. You must choose a different target for each attack.

You can perform Dual Weapon Attack twice. You regain expended performances when you finish a short or long rest. Alternatively, you can spend 1 spirit point to perform the feat again.
