Acid Spit

Cast (Action): You use one of the following powers:

  • Eruct (Instantaneous): You belch corrosive fumes over an adjacent 3-square cube. Each creature in the area makes a Hard (4+) Strength test.* A creature succeeds automatically if it is immune to acid damage or if it doesn't need to breathe. Each creature that fails is incapacitated and unable to speak until the end of your next turn.

*You can spend 1 spirit point to heighten the spell when you cast it, imposing disadvantage on this test.

  • Spew (Instantaneous): You spray boiling bile from your mouth over a square within 6 squares of you. The bile settles on the floor, forming a puddle which evaporates after 1 minute. When a creature moves into the puddle for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it takes acid damage equal to half the number of faces on your Fighting die. An object takes this damage once per turn if it is fully immersed in the puddle. In any case, if this damage leaves the target with 0 hit points, it melts into a pool of sticky, homogeneous slime.
