Produce Flame

Cast (Action): You use one of the following powers:

  • Ember (Special): You invent a simple pyrokinetic effect and use it on a target you can see within 12 squares of you (light a torch from afar, form dancing images in a campfire, and so on). The GM determines the limitations of the effect, including its duration (instantaneous, persistent, or concentration).

  • Fireball (Instantaneous): You hurl a flaming orb to make a blast attack (see Blast Attacks) against a creature or an object within 12 squares of you. If you succeed, the target takes fire damage equal to your Fighting result, and -- if the target is a creature and your result is an even number -- residual energy bursts outward from the target, causing each other creature adjacent to it to take fire damage equal to half your result.

  • Scourge (Instantaneous): You brandish a tendril of fire to make a blast attack (see Blast Attacks) against a creature or an object within your reach.* If you succeed, the target takes fire damage equal to your Fighting result, and -- if the target is a Large or smaller creature -- you can move it up to 2 squares in a horizontal direction of your choice other than away from you.

*Your reach for this attack is 2 squares greater than normal.
