Advanced Techniques

As an action, you can use one of the following techniques:

  • Aim: You carefully examine a target you can see. You have advantage on the next Fighting test you make against that target before the end of your next turn.

  • Gambit: You drop your guard to prepare a fierce riposte. Until the start of your next turn, Fighting tests against you have advantage. If a creature makes a melee attack against you before the start of your next turn, you can immediately use your reaction to make a melee attack against that creature in response. You have advantage on your Fighting test. Apply the outcomes of these attacks simultaneously.

  • Split Attack: You make a melee or ranged attack against a target. If you have advantage on the Fighting test, you can forgo that advantage to follow up with a second melee or ranged attack against a different target. No circumstance can grant advantage on either Fighting test.\ Rules Tip: You can spend a spirit point to stack the odds (see Spirit Points (SP)) for advantage, then forgo that advantage immediately with Split Attack.
